Respected and renowned young designer Melanie Harris Silverman is the proud 3rd generation of 50-year-old couture house, Rose Taft. Started by her grandmother, Melanie is continuing the tradition of manufacturing handcrafted special occasion dresses in the USA.
Melanie and her team- including her mother and mentor Marcia Taft-have designed breathtaking gowns for many celebs, politicians & socialites including former First Lady and Senator Hilary Clinton, Tipper Gore, Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin, Mary Hart, Deidre Hall, Niecy Nash, Julie Moran and countless other high profile personalities.
